Touch down London.

It is my 5th day away from home, living with four other international students in a shared flat far, far away from the heart of London. By choosing to live here, we are passing up the opportunity for excitement and pub nights. But that is exactly what we might need, with the prospect of a daunting academic year looming in the horizon. I have yet to set a rhythm here and be OK with enduring the first thirty seconds of cold water streaming out of the shower on a chilly autumn morning until it decides to follow me when I set the dial to the hottest temp possible.

But yes, it is true. London is a darling.

Looks like a scene from the movies. But that’s just filter.

The underground. They are actually quite old, but I have a penchant for things that have seen better days. 🙂

The River Thames.

Borough High Street. This is where we had one of our flatmates register with the police. For some international students, signing up with the police within 7 days of arrival is required.
